First off, the horn... It shows that you forgot it and added it later. It's way more crisp than everything else. In fact, the entire thing should be more crisp like the horn is. I'm not really sure what all the fog-like stuff is supposed to be, but it muddies the image and makes me feel like my vision is going bad.
I don't know if I've explained value ranges before or not, but you could use it, methinks. Not every image needs to have colors that use the entire range of dark/light. In this image, you have blobs of near-white, and blobs of near-black. Try forcing yourself to not use more than a certain value (Or less, if you want a bright image).
The composition is nice and the anatomy doesn't have any real errors, but it's kind of hard to see through the fuzziness.
